To receive – once a day – beautiful, sorrowful letters by Stanford students and alums about their Jones Lecturers, who were informed on August 21 that they are being "future-fired," and to hear their perspective on the importance of the creative writing classes those lecturers teach to their education.
One Letter - Every Day
You never have to miss a letter if you subscribe. Every day until this decision is reversed, and long beyond, you will receive one letter by a student or alum who is grieved by the deans’ and faculty’s decision to dismantle the storied Undergraduate Creative Writing Program at Stanford.
There will soon be an audio component of this project, for which it would be especially helpful to get the Substack app for ease of listening.
